Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Electrician) for weekend shift to support aseptic manufacturing, filling and packaging operations. You will join a multidisciplinary team of fitters and engineers, focusing on reliability, safety and process improvements.

The role requires strong electrical and automation knowledge,SAP familiarity and the ability to work overtime and shifts as needed, with a commitment to quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• National Craft Senior Trades Electrical qualification essential.
• Minimum 4 years’ maintenance in a highly automated pharmaceutical or similar regulated environment.
• Clear understanding of maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical or mechanical, instrumentation and automation systems including PLCs, HMI, pick-and-place robotics, control pneumatics, IPCs and PC-based tools, Vision systems, VSDs and Servo-drives, SCADA.
• Proficient on SAP to manage maintenance requisitions and spare parts control.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned/unplanned maintenance on manufacturing, filling and packaging equipment using a Reliability-Centred Maintenance approach.
• Troubleshoot and fault find automatic, semi-automatic and batch manufacturing equipment; drive Continuous Improvement and RCPS actions.
• Support equipment projects from design to install.
• Maintain compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety requirements; participate in audits.
