Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for the evening shift to perform planned and unplanned maintenance across aseptic manufacturing, packaging, and related processes. You will work with a multidisciplinary team of fitters, electricians, and engineers to improve efficiency and ensure continuous supply of safe products.

The role requires 2+ years in a highly automated pharmaceutical setting, a National Craft Electrical qualification, PLC/HMI knowledge, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• 2 years in maintenance and troubleshooting in a highly automated pharmaceutical environment.
• National Craft Senior Trades Electrical qualification is essential.
• Automation/Mechatronic qualification would be an advantage.
• Clear understanding and experience with PLCs, HMI, pick-and-place robotics, control pneumatics, IPCs and PC-based tools.
• Proficient on Maximo to manage maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned/unplanned maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and fault-find automatic and semi-automatic processes.
• Support equipment projects from design to install.
• Identify opportunities for improvements and ensure quality, EHS compliance.
• Assist with On Call duties and maintain training via eLMS.
• Update Maximo for stock parts and downtime reporting.
• Coordinate with vendors for non-stock parts.
• Contribute to RCA, MEP, OEE, and productivity programs.
