Job summary

AbbVie in Ireland is seeking a Maintenance Technician Fitter for the night shift to maintain aseptic production lines, packaging equipment, and related mechanical services. You will work in a highly automated environment with a strong emphasis on root-cause analysis, GMP compliance, calibration and preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives such as MEP, OEE, and RCA.

• Must have strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems.

• Willingness to overtime and shift work.

Responsibilities

• Planned and unplanned maintenance of mechanical services, plant and equipment.
• Identify root causes and implement solutions to equipment issues.
• Support MEP/OEE and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Sourcing spare parts and supporting vendor maintenance activities.
• Assist in FAT/commissioning and equipment qualification activities.
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed in all maintenance tasks.
