Job summary
Unknown is seeking an EHSS Specialist to support a Roscommon project on a 12-month initial contract in the life sciences sector.
The role requires extensive EHSS experience in pharma/biotech, plus hands-on contractor management, RAMS review and leadership of safety inspections during commissioning.
Degree in OH&S or related field and a recognised safety qualification are preferred; experience with Construction Safety Management and PSDP/PSCS processes will be valued.
Qualifications
- Extensive EHSS experience in pharma/biotech/medical device/chemical/industrial environments.
- Experience supporting construction projects and contractor management.
- Experience supporting equipment commissioning and start-up activities.
- Degree in OH&S, Engineering or Environmental Science or related field.
- Recognised Health & Safety qualification.
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated EHSS support to capital projects, facility expansions, utility upgrades and equipment installation projects.
- Ensure compliance with Construction Safety Management and Construction Safety Requirements standards and Commissioning Safety Standards.
- Monitor compliance of PSDP and PSCS.
- Review and approve contractor RAMS.
- Lead construction safety inspections, audits and contractor safety reviews.
