MarketStar is seeking a German bilingual Performance Specialist to advise Mid-Market and Enterprise advertisers across the EMEA region. You will focus on performance marketing, optimization, measurement, and attribution to help clients achieve measurable business results.

The role requires analytical, consultative skills and a passion for data-driven digital advertising. This hybrid position is based in Leopardstown Dublin, with a 3-day office pattern and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in digital advertising, performance marketing, campaign analytics, or paid media.
• Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics such as CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, and customer acquisition.
• Knowledge of attribution and measurement solutions used in digital advertising.

• Partner with Client Partners and Account Managers supporting Mid-Market and Enterprise advertisers across EMEA.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on campaign performance, optimization strategies, measurement, and attribution.

About The Performance Specialist (German Bilingual):

The Performance Specialist serves as a trusted advisor to Mid-Market and Enterprise Client Partners and Account Managers across the EMEA region. This role specializes in performance marketing, campaign optimization, measurement, and attribution, helping internal stakeholders deliver stronger advertiser outcomes through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.

The ideal candidate is analytical, consultative, and passionate about helping advertisers achieve measurable business results through effective digital advertising strategies.

What You Will Do?

Performance Consulting

• Partner with Client Partners and Account Managers supporting Mid-Market and Enterprise advertisers across EMEA.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on campaign performance, optimization strategies, measurement, and attribution.
• Provide strategic guidance to improve advertiser outcomes and achieve campaign objectives.

Campaign Analysis & Optimization

• Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Evaluate performance against key metrics, including CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, and advertiser-defined success metrics.
• Develop actionable optimization recommendations backed by data and clear business rationale.
• Support advertisers facing performance challenges through advanced analysis and strategic problem solving.

Measurement & Attribution

• Advise stakeholders on performance measurement strategies and attribution methodologies.
• Help diagnose tracking, measurement, and reporting issues that may affect advertiser performance.
• Support best practices related to campaign measurement and reporting accuracy.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Collaborate with Client Partners, Account Managers, Operations, and cross-functional teams to support advertiser success.
• Act as an escalation point for complex performance and optimization challenges.
• Contribute to testing strategies and initiatives designed to improve performance outcomes.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Document recommendations, analyses, testing strategies, outcomes, and key learnings.
• Develop performance best practices and enablement resources for EMEA stakeholder teams.
• Share insights and emerging trends that drive continuous improvement across the organization.

What You Need?

• 2+ years of experience in digital advertising, performance marketing, campaign analytics, or paid media.
• Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics such as CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, and customer acquisition.
• Knowledge of attribution and measurement solutions used in digital advertising.
• Experience analyzing advertising performance data and developing optimization recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Mid-Market or Enterprise advertisers.
• Experience working within digital advertising platforms such as Reddit, Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, or similar advertising ecosystems.
• Familiarity with conversion tracking, attribution platforms, pixels, APIs, and measurement technologies.
• Experience supporting both brand and direct-response advertising initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

The pay for this position is basic salary per annum of €55,000 with an additional variable bonus component of €10,000. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
