Job summary

The Stepstone Group Ireland Recruit Limited is seeking a Market Performance Manager to drive marketplace performance across Ireland and Belgium. You will partner with Product, Marketing, Analytics, Pricing and Commercial teams to deliver insights that improve candidate outcomes and growth.

This high-visibility role reports to senior stakeholders and offers a hybrid working model with strong emphasis on data-driven decision making and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Relevant Industry Experience in Marketplace, Ecommerce, Digital Trading, Performance Marketing or Product Performance environments.
• Strong Analytical Capability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends and uncover actionable business insights.
• Commercial mindset with a track record translating data into measurable business outcomes.
• Stakeholder Influence and Executive Communication skills to present insights to senior stakeholders.
• Structured, data-driven approach to problem solving and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and communicate marketplace health and performance across key KPIs.
• Identify growth opportunities, performance risks and optimisation potential through data analysis and market intelligence.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Analytics, Pricing and Commercial stakeholders to improve marketplace outcomes.
• Turn trends and insights into actionable recommendations influencing strategy, investment decisions and priorities.
• Lead executive reporting: present performance trends, challenges and opportunities to senior leaders.
• Deliver market intelligence by monitoring competitor activity, market dynamics and customer behaviour to support growth.

As Market Performance Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving marketplace performance across Ireland and Belgium. You'll work at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Commercial, Pricing and Analytics, helping us deliver the right candidates to customers while driving sustainable growth and customer retention.

This is a highly visible role offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence key business decisions.

What you'll do

• Marketplace Performance: Monitor, analyse and communicate marketplace health and performance across key commercial, candidate and product KPIs.
• Drive Insight-Led Decisions: Identify growth opportunities, performance risks and optimisation potential through data analysis and market intelligence.
• Influence Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with Product, Marketing, Analytics, Pricing and Commercial stakeholders to improve marketplace outcomes.
• Challenge & Improve Performance: Turn trends and insights into actionable recommendations that influence strategy, investment decisions and business priorities.
• Lead Executive Reporting: Present performance trends, business challenges and opportunities to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
• Deliver Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, market dynamics and customer behaviour to support growth and marketplace strategy.

Qualifications

Must-have

• Relevant Industry Experience: Experience in Marketplace, Ecommerce, Digital Trading, Performance Marketing or Product Performance environments.
• Strong Analytical Capability: Ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends and uncover actionable business insights.
• Commercial Mindset: Proven experience translating data into recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Stakeholder Influence: Ability to build credibility and influence decisions across multiple teams and functions.
• Executive Communication Skills: Confidence presenting insights, recommendations and challenges to senior stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving Approach: Structured, data-driven mindset with a track record of identifying and solving business challenges.

Nice-to-have

• Marketplace & Growth Expertise: Experience in digital marketplaces, ecommerce, conversion optimisation, pricing or growth-focused business environments
• Executive Stakeholder Exposure: Experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership or executive stakeholders.
• AI & Advanced Analytics: Experience leveraging AI-powered tools, reporting frameworks or advanced analytics to improve business performance and decision-making
