Job summary

A&L Goodbody LLP (ALG) is seeking a Pensions Lawyer with 0-3 PQE to join its Pensions Group in Ireland. The role focuses on occupational pension schemes and pension products for Irish and international clients, with opportunities to work across mergers, restructurings, banking structures and more.

The successful candidate will bring strong analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills, with a willingness to develop managerial and mentoring capabilities as the role progresses.

Qualifications

• 0-3 PQE in a large or medium corporate law firm in Ireland or the United Kingdom.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Strong team and collaborative skills.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• A willingness to develop managerial and mentoring skills as the role progresses.

Responsibilities

• Provide pension law advice across mergers, restructurings, and related corporate work.
• Work closely with other legal areas to advise on pension issues.
• Assist with pensions matters in employment, data protection, and disputes as needed.
