Job summary

Standard Life in Ireland is seeking a Customer Operations Team Manager to lead a team of Pension & Investment Administrators, delivering exceptional customer service and guiding the team through a period of transformation.

The role focuses on ensuring business readiness for the Bulk Purchase Annuity project, working with project teams and stakeholders to plan training, processes and handovers while maintaining a positive, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• QFA qualification under the Central Bank of Ireland’s Minimum Competency Code.
• Commitment to ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• At least 2 years’ experience in servicing and pension/investment administration.
• Experience with Bulk Purchase Annuities and/or Individual Annuities would be highly desirable.
• Experience leading or coaching others through change, transformation, or project activity.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and people-management skills.
• Ability to work with project teams and operational stakeholders to support business readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Pension & Investment Administrators with varied experience.
• Manage resources, systems and processes for efficient operations.
• Support delivery of the Bulk Purchase Annuity project with focus on business readiness for CSD.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to plan for change and readiness activities.
• Ensure trainings, communications and process updates are planned and delivered.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team culture and high-performance standards.
• Set clear goals aligned with broader business strategy and recognise success.
