Job summary

Kare is seeking a Speech & Language Therapist (Basic Grade) for the South Kildare West Wicklow CDNT in Athy, Co. Kildare. The role is a permanent contract, 35 hours per week, with a salary scale from €45,514 to €52,545 per year. CORU registration is required and a valid driver's licence is essential.

The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team delivering family-centred services to children aged 0-18 with complex needs, ensuring high-quality outcomes and service development.

Qualifications

• Hold a Speech & Language qualification recognised by the SLT Registration Board at CORU.
• Be CORU registered.
• Demonstrate clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and collaboration.
• Show ability to lead planning, organising and delivering services.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality services to children and young people with disabilities.
• Collaborate with families and other stakeholders to identify goals.
• Work with interdisciplinary team in planning and delivery of services.
• Move the service forward and pilot value-adding ideas.
• Maintain up-to-date records and data; ensure health and safety standards.
