Job summary

CoAction West Cork is seeking a part-time Staff Grade Occupational Therapist (Basic Grade) to join the West Cork CDNT. The role involves delivering OT services to children with complex needs, coordinating with families and schools, and working within an interdisciplinary team to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Based in West Cork, the position requires a degree in OT, CORU registration, and a current driving license.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Eligible to be a member of AOTI and registered with CORU.
• Full driver's license and access to own transport.

Responsibilities

• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop IFSP-based plans.
• Assess developmental and functional skills of children aged 0-18.
• Develop and review home and school OT programmes with goals.
• Provide equipment recommendations and environmental assessments.
• Train school staff and families on OT programmes and interventions.
