Job summary

Nolan Transport.com is seeking a Payroll Assistant to join its busy payroll team in New Ross. The role is full-time and based in the office, offering a solid opportunity within a dynamic finance department.

Responsibilities include processing fortnightly and monthly payroll, addressing payroll queries, handling expenses, and managing timekeeping and deductions to ensure accurate payroll runs.

Qualifications

• IPASS qualification with a minimum of 2 years experience on a busy payroll desk.
• Experience with payroll legislation and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet payroll deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide support in the processing of fortnightly and monthly payroll for high volumes of employees.
• Deal with pay related queries from employees and managers.
• Process expense payments for employees.
• Process new starters and leavers.
• Ensure the set-up and management of employee deductions, benefits and taxable payments.
• Manage electronic timekeeping system - Timepoint.
• Input payroll related journal entries on the general ledger.
• Other routine payroll administration tasks.
