Elis is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Dún Laoghaire, Dublin. You will take ownership of accurate, timely payroll delivery for our employees while ensuring full compliance with Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements.
• Experience processing payroll in Ireland.
• Proficient in payroll software and HR systems.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
• Maintain employee payroll records (starters, leavers, changes, benefits, deductions, pensions).
• Ensure compliance with Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements.
• Reconcile payroll reports and statutory payments.
• Process maternity, paternity, adoptive, parental, sick leave and other statutory payments where applicable.
• Support year-end payroll activities and reporting.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for employee payroll queries, providing professional and timely support.
• Liaise with HR, Finance, pension providers and external payroll vendors.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations and management information.
• Support payroll audits and compliance reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to initiatives.
• Maintain GDPR and confidentiality standards.
