Job summary

Ryanair is recruiting a Payroll Specialist to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group. Based at our Dublin Head Office, you will manage payroll across 20 markets and 28,000 staff. This role suits a self-starter keen to progress in a world-leading company.

You will process end-to-end payrolls, support system integrations, and handle salary changes, journals and reporting for multiple markets. Strong Excel and IPass or equivalent qualification are preferred.

Qualifications

  • 2 years experience working in payroll.
  • IPass qualification or equivalent required.
  • Experience with SAP and Employee Central Payroll is advantageous.
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Teamwork and ability to meet deadlines are essential.

  • Process start-to-finish payrolls for multiple EMEA countries.
  • Support integrations between HR and payroll systems; resolve discrepancies.
  • Update payroll for salary changes and new starters (tax, banking).
  • Prepare monthly payroll journals and related reports.
  • Assist with expansion projects and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
  • Test new setups, system enhancements and integrations affecting Global Payroll.
  • Prepare and load spreadsheets for variable payments/deductions.
  • Assist with internal controls and documentation.

Job Description

Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Payroll Specialist to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.


The successful candidate will be based at our Dublin Head Office where we manage payroll across 20 markets and over 28,000 staff. This is an exciting role for a self-starter, keen to progress their careers in a world leading company.


Responsibilities


  • Process the start to finish payrolls for multiple EMEA countries

  • Support system integrations between HR and global payroll systems including resolving discrepancies

  • Update payroll in relation to salary changes for movements within the Company Check the input of information relating to new starters i.e. tax, bank information etc.

  • Preparation of monthly payroll related journals

  • Assist in the work on current expansion projects and ad-hoc reporting as the need arises

  • Test new set up, system enhancements, system updates and integrations affecting Global Payroll

  • Prepare and process spreadsheets for variable payments/deductions

  • Prepare and bulk load spreadsheets to the payroll

  • Assist with internal controls and procedures, including documentation and testing

  • Preparation of 3rd party payments

  • Participate in different payroll projects and other opportunities as assigned


Qualifications


  • Minimum 2 years experience working in payroll

  • Hold an IPass qualification or equivalent

  • Candidates who hold experience with SAP and Employee Central Payroll will be at a distinct advantage.

  • The ability to work as part of a team

  • Proven computer skills including advanced Excel
  • An efficient and methodical work ethic - accuracy and attention to detail are essential

  • Ability to meet deadlines, strong interpersonal skills and a professional manner

  • Flexible work style and ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing work demands

  • Flexibility to work outside normal office hours when required
