Job summary

UKG in Kilkenny offers a hybrid Payroll Processor role responsible for the successful operation of client UK payrolls from Start to Finish using our payroll software. You will gather and validate data and work with the Implementation team to ensure accurate payroll setups.

The role requires 1+ year payroll experience, advanced Excel skills, and superb client engagement with stakeholders. Hybrid work model, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Run full end-to-end payrolls for allocated clients.
• Gather and validate data required to implement and run client payrolls.
• Collaborate with Implementation team for payroll setup.
• Update Payroll Manager with status and risks.
• Process HMRC submissions, net pay transfers and HMRC payments for monthly payrolls.

Based in our Kilkenny office with a hybrid working model.

As a UK Payroll Processor, you will be responsible for the successful operation of our client's UK payrolls, handling a portfolio of client accounts from Start to finish through our payroll software.

This will include:

• Running full end-to-end payrolls
• Gathering and validating all data and information required to successfully implement and run a new client's payroll through our payroll software our Platform.
• Work with our Implementation team to ensure the successful setup of the payroll software.
• Update the Payroll Manager with the latest status including the escalation of risks and issues impacting the project.
• Operate end-to-end payroll process on monthly payrolls for allocated clients (including processing the HMRC Submissions, net pay transfers and HMRC Payments).

Requirements

• 1+ Years' Experience working within a Payroll, Accounts or Finance Function.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and ability to quickly analyse data and come to solid conclusions.
• Superb client engagement skills and confident in engaging with and building relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Must be motivated, professional and able to work on own initiative, with the capacity to be a versatile team player - flexible, proactive, and pragmatic.
• University degree in a relevant or related field is an advantage but not a requirement.

Full training is given to the right applicant, so payroll experience is advantageous but not a requirement.

The pay range for this position is €37,500 to €50,650. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
