Job summary

UKG, the Workforce Operating Platform, is looking for a Payroll Services Consultant (UK Payroll) in Kilkenny with a hybrid work model. You will manage end-to-end UK payrolls for a portfolio of client accounts using our payroll software, from data gathering to processing and HMRC submissions.

The role requires 1+ year in payroll/finance, strong Excel and superb stakeholder engagement. Full training is provided; base salary plus bonus and benefits.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Strong client engagement and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end UK payrolls for a portfolio of client accounts.
• Gather, validate and input data for payroll processing.
• Collaborate with Implementation and Payroll teams for setup and issues.
• Manage HMRC submissions, net pay transfers and HMRC payments.
• Provide regular status updates and escalate risks as needed.

Because at UKG, your work matters—and so do you.Based in our Kilkenny office with a hybrid working model.As a UK Payroll Processor, you will be responsible for the successful operation of our client’s UK payrolls, handling a portfolio of client accounts from Start to finish through our payroll software.This will include:• Running full end-to-end payrolls• Gathering and validating all data and information required to successfully implement and run a new client’s payroll through our payroll software our Platform.• Work with our Implementation team to ensure the successful setup of the payroll software.• Update the Payroll Manager with the latest status including the escalation of risks and issues impacting the project.• Operate end-to-end payroll process on monthly payrolls for allocated clients (including processing the HMRC Submissions, net pay transfers and HMRC Payments).Requirements• 1+ Years’ Experience working within a Payroll, Accounts or Finance Function.• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and ability to quickly analyse data and come to solid conclusions.• Superb client engagement skills and confident in engaging with and building relationships with all levels of stakeholders.• Excellent facilitation, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills• Excellent attention to detail.• Must be motivated, professional and able to work on own initiative, with the capacity to be a versatile team player – flexible, proactive, and pragmatic.• University degree in a relevant or related field is an advantage but not a requirement.Full training is given to the right applicant, so payroll experience is advantageous but not a requirement.Company Overview:UKG is the Workforce Operating Platform that puts workforce understanding to work.
