Job summary

Cloudera is seeking a Payroll Analyst in Cork, Ireland, to manage monthly payrolls, year-end reporting for the EMEA region, and ensure compliance with local tax laws and company policies.

You will collaborate with third-party vendors, prepare payroll-related accounting entries, respond to inquiries, and drive continuous improvement projects in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced multi-country payroll environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) & G-Suite.
• Experience with NetSuite, Payslip and Workday is a plus.
• Previous experience partnering with an external payroll service provider is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review payroll output reports for approval and compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with third-party payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to close out the monthly payroll process promptly.
• Issue payroll payments to employees and statutory authorities within specified deadlines.
• Prepare payroll-related accounting and accrual entries for input to the finance system.
• Complete monthly payroll accounting balance sheet reconciliations, flux analysis and respond to Accounting queries.
• Provide knowledgeable advice to employee and stakeholder queries.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports for the business as requested.
• Work with internal and external audit teams to resolve auditor requests.
• Assist with various payroll projects aimed at continuous improvement.
