Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Ireland is seeking a Passivation Operator to join an onsite passivation team. The role involves setting up projects, conducting pressure tests, and monitoring stainless steel systems in pharmaceutical and food industries. Ideal candidates will have experience in regulated environments, good problem-solving skills, and be self-motivated. This position requires extensive travel across Ireland. Qualifications

• Experience in working in live pharmaceutical plants with a respect for highly regulated environments.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Ireland for project durations.
• Self-starter with a high energy level and motivation.

Responsibilities

• Work within a passivation team of 3-5 Operators and a supervisor.
• Set up projects, move skids and pumps, and connect systems.
• Conduct pressure testing and monitor systems during the passivation process.
• Add chemicals for passivation and comply with EHS requirements.
• Use instruments to take necessary measurements on-site.

Skills

Experience in live pharmaceutical plants

Experience with stainless steel systems

Basic chemical handling knowledge

Excellent problem-solving ability

Good written and verbal communication skills
