Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an Airport Passenger Assistant to welcome and assist passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM) through the airport, helping at check-in, security and pre-boarding.

You will support safe passenger transfers and comply with health and safety regulations while working with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Effective communication with passengers and staff
• Ability to assist PRM at drop off/pick up points
• Ability to lift passengers in line with guidelines

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet PRM passengers arriving or departing
• Assist PRM at check-in, security and pre-boarding
• Transfer passengers using equipment and ensure safety
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations and use equipment responsibly

About The Role:

As part of your role, your key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Meet and greet arriving/departing/transferring Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM)
• Communicate effectively with the passengers and staff
• Assist Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM) at drop off/pick up points, airline check-In, airport security and pre-boarding aircraft.
• In a safely manner, assist in the transfer of passengers from aircraft to airport terminal using various equipment
• Comply with all Health & Safety regulations.
• Use company equipment responsibly ensuring all equipment

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
• Ability to communicate with people and colleagues at all levels
• Ability to lift passengers in accordance with manual handling guidelines.

You will be required to pass pre-employment screening, including 5 years of employment referencing.
