Job summary

FRS Recruitment is recruiting a Parts Stores Operative in Portarlington to join a busy manufacturing company. This hands-on role supports production by receiving, storing and issuing parts and ensuring correct stock locations.

You will use an ERP system and may operate a forklift. The role is Monday to Friday, 8.30am–5.00pm, with weekly pay and up to €18 per hour DOE. Training or a refresher can be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts, stores, warehouse or manufacturing.
• Forklift experience; ticket preferred but not essential.
• Comfortable with paperwork and stock records.
• Able to follow processes and procedures.
• Organised and reliable.
• Willing to ask questions and clarify.
• Experience in agriculture, automotive, engineering or related manufacturing environment useful.
• Forklift licence an advantage; training/refresher can be provided.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Parts Stores Operative to join an established manufacturer in the Portarlington area. This is a hands-on role supporting the production team by ensuring parts and materials are received, stored and issued correctly.

What you'll be doing:

• Receiving and checking incoming goods
• Picking and issuing parts to production
• Managing goods in and goods out
• Organising stock and maintaining correct locations
• Using an ERP system and completing relevant paperwork
• Operating a forklift
• Keeping the stores organised and efficient
• Following established processes and stock procedures
• Supporting the wider manufacturing operation

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in parts, stores, warehouse or manufacturing
• Forklift experience (if your ticket has expired please still apply)
• Comfortable working with paperwork and stock records
• Able to follow processes and procedures
• Organised and reliable
• Comfortable working in a busy environment
• Willing to ask questions and clarify things when needed

Experience in agriculture, automotive, engineering, trailer manufacturing or another manufacturing environment would be particularly useful.

A forklift licence is an advantage, but training or a refresher can be provided for the right person.
