Job summary

Monasterevin Motors is seeking a commercially focused Parts Analyst to manage and optimise parts inventory. You will analyze sales, purchasing, and stock movements, driving replenishment and reporting to improve service levels and margins.

The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and the ability to work across multiple teams in a fast-paced automotive environment. 40 hours per week, based in Monasterevin, Co. Kildare.

Qualifications

• A third-level qualification in Business, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Automotive Management, or related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse parts sales, purchasing, stock movements, and inventory performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor parts stock levels and recommend replenishment strategies to maximise availability while minimising excess inventory.
• Review fast-moving, slow-moving, and obsolete stock and provide recommendations to improve stock efficiency and turnover.
• Support forecasting and demand planning activities using historical sales data, seasonal trends, and manufacturer requirements.
• Analyse supplier performance, lead times, pricing, and product availability to support purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with Parts, Service, Aftersales and Management teams to ensure stock availability meets operational needs.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and support stock accuracy initiatives.
• Produce regular reports and dashboards relating to inventory, purchasing, sales, margins, stock ageing, and turnover.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, improved purchasing efficiencies, and inventory optimisation.

Education

Third-level qualification in Business, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Automotive Management, or related discipline
