Partnerships and Communications Associate

Location: Dublin 2 (Hybrid) Contract: Full-time Organisation: Public Health NGO

Our client, a leading Public Health NGO, is seeking a Partnerships and Communications Associate to strengthen its external profile, build strategic partnerships, and increase the reach and impact of its research and policy work.

This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional with experience in stakeholder engagement, digital communications, and public affairs who is passionate about creating positive social impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of strategic partnerships across government, civil society, academia, and the private sector, including fundraising initiatives.
• Promote research and policy work through media, digital communications, and stakeholder engagement.
• Draft press releases, media statements, newsletters, and other communications materials.
• Manage social media channels, create engaging content, and support the redevelopment of the organisation's website and newsletter.
• Coordinate events, including research launches, workshops, and public discussions.
• Maintain organisational records using Salesforce and support impact reporting and annual reporting processes.

About You

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, public affairs, fundraising, or a related role.
• Knowledge of Irish public policy and the political landscape.
• Experience managing social media and creating digital content.
• Strong organisational and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A genuine interest in public health and evidence‑based policy.

Desirable

• Experience working in an NGO, research institute, think tank, or public policy environment.
• Media relations experience.
• Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
• Experience supporting events and stakeholder engagement activities.
