Job summary

Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS) is recruiting part-time, temporary Staff Nurses for the Collections/Nursing Department on a Limerick Mobile Team. The role supports the CNM, aims to grow the donor base, and strengthens operational resilience.

You will act as CNM when required and must hold NMBI registration, with at least two years post-registration experience and a driving licence. IBTS offers a competitive salary scale (€45,259–€58,424 pro rata), a strong work–life balance, ongoing

Qualifications

• Registered with NMBI (live register).
• Minimum 2 years post-registration experience relevant to IBTS RN role.
• Demonstrate experience in managing people.
• Evidence of recent CPD.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Proven IT skills (MS Office, Outlook) and experience with electronic patient management systems.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support CNM in progressing IBTS strategic aims and donor base growth.
• Lead the Limerick Mobile Team when required.
• Ensure practice within NMBI Code of Practice and IBTS Quality System.
