Job summary

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) is recruiting for a Social Care Worker to join the Ballymoney Community, Gorey, Co Wexford. The role offers a permanent contract with part-time hours (16 per week as listed in the posting) and a salary of €39,088–€56,349 per annum pro-rata.

Garda Vetting and Police clearance are required; a Level 7 QQI or BA in Social Care Studies is expected, with CORU registration or in-progress. Driving licence and own car are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
• CORU registration or proof application is in progress
• Have 1 year experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
• An ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• A full driver's licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.
