Job summary

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) recruits Social Care Assistants for Ballymoney, Gorey, Co Wexford. The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) with a salary of €34,884- €43,193 per annum. You will support residents and day attendees to live ordinary lives within a leading national organisation.

Requirements include QQI Level 5 Major Award (or BA in Social Care Studies), 1 year of relevant experience, and strong interpersonal and IT skills. Garda Vetting and references apply.

Qualifications

• Hold a QQI Level 5 Major Award on the QQI Framework or BA in Social Care Studies.
• Have 1 year experience with vulnerable adults or intellectual disabilities.
• Understand current policy and developments in social care.
• Follow plans and methods to meet ongoing needs of individuals.
• Effective verbal and written communication; good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to residents and day attendees.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver person-centred care.
• Assist with daily activities and documentation as required.
