Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) is recruiting a Social Care Worker for Grangemockler Community, Co Tipperary. This permanent, full-time role (40 hours/week) offers a competitive salary from €39,088 to €56,349 per year and opportunities to work within a leading national organisation.

You will join a committed team supporting people with disabilities, with CORU registration or progression encouraged. Garda Vetting and police clearance required.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum Level 7 QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
• CORU registration or proof application is in progress.
• Have 1 year experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to social care within disability services.
• Ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to plans and methods to meet ongoing needs.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• Full driver’s licence and own car is essential.

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations, in which residents and day-attendees are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other.

What you will need:

• An ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• A full driver's licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.
