Job summary

Camphill Communities of Ireland is recruiting Social Care Workers for Greenacres Community in Stillorgan, Co Dublin. This permanent full-time role is 40 hours per week, including day and night shifts. Salary ranges from €39,088 to €56,349 per annum.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 7 QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent in Health/Social Care.
• CORU registration or proof of application is essential.
• 1 year of experience with vulnerable adults or intellectual disabilities.
• Understanding of national policies affecting social care in disability services.
• Ability to follow and help develop plans to meet ongoing needs.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• Full driver’s licence and access to own car is essential.

Social Care Workers Greenacres

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations, in which residents and day-attendees are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other. We are currently recruiting for Social Care Workers to join Greenacres Community, in Stillorgan, Co Dublin.

Job Title: Social Care Worker, Residential

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Fulltime (40 hours per week, Mon- Sun, day & night hours)

Salary: €39,088 - €56,349 per annum

What you will need:

• Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Heath or Social Care.
• CORU registration or proof application is in progress - Essential requirement.
• Have 1 years' experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
• An ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• A full driver's licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.
