Job summary

3Q Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting Social Care Workers for permanent part-time opportunities within community-based intellectual disability services in Co. Roscommon, Ireland.

You’ll deliver person-centred support, helping individuals develop life skills, achieve personal goals and participate actively in their communities. You'll contribute to an inclusive and respectful care environment where dignity, choice and individual rights are prioritised.

Qualifications

• CORU registration or eligible to practise.
• Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities.
• Knowledge of person-centred care and safeguarding standards.
• Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to promoting independence, inclusion and individual rights.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual disabilities in daily living activities.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice and community inclusion.
• Implement individual support plans and personal goals.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support safeguarding and relevant health and safety standards.
