Job summary

Qualifications

• Firefighters must have attained a satisfactory level of education to enable training and performance.
• A Firefighter must be of good character and pass references and Garda Vetting.
• A Firefighter must hold a valid full current Category B Driving Licence at application and ideally Category C for HGV.
• All appointed retained firefighters must obtain Category C Licence and drive service vehicles as needed.
• Applicants must meet health requirements and undergo medical examinations as part of recruitment.
• Residence within 5 minutes travel time to respond to calls is required.
