Job summary

AirNav in Shannon is seeking a professional Full-Time Security Officer to provide security services and maintain a safe, professional environment for employees, contractors, and visitors. The role requires PSA Security Licence, own transport, and strong English communication, plus good computer skills with Word, Excel and email.

A background check will be conducted. You will monitor CCTV, conduct patrols, badge visitors, open/secure buildings, and report incidents with a friendly, respectful

Qualifications

• Must hold PSA Security Licence.
• Own transport to access sites.
• Good oral and written English.
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Email).
• Professional and friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol CCTV systems.
• Conduct foot patrols and CCTV patrols.
• Record visitors and contractors entering and exiting.
• Issue and collect visitor/contractor badges.
• Open and secure buildings as required.
• Complete shift reports and email them.
• Report security incidents, safety concerns and equipment failures.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues on site and across other AirNav locations.
• Receive and record pre-announced deliveries.
• Liaise with third-party security companies and officers as required.

Key Essentials

• ValidPSA Security Licence
• Own transport(sites are not generally served by public transport)
• Goodoral and written English
• Goodcomputer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
• Afriendly, helpful, and professional manner

Requirements

• Officers must maintain aneat and professional appearance(uniform provided)
• Apolite and respectful approachin all interactions with colleagues, AirNav employees, contractors, and visitors
• Must be willing to undergo a background check and Garda Vetting
