Job summary

B&Q Limited in Swords, Ireland, is hiring a part-time Customer Advisor (20 hours per week) in the tiling and flooring department. You’ll become an expert advisor, helping customers, managing stock, setting up displays and ensuring the store looks great. You may be trained in paint-mixing and timber cutting; the role requires flexibility to cover weekends and evenings.

A notional hourly rate of €15.45 per hour applies, with a Sunday premium of €18.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required, friendly and eager to learn.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to a rota.
• Interest in home improvement and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Sales and customer guidance in tiling and flooring.
• Manage stock and set up displays to keep the store presentable.
• Assist with paint-mixing and timber cutting training.
• Work a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
