Job summary

Irish Wheelchair Association in Fermoy is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants (Personal Assistants) to support members in their homes and communities. This part-time role is 20 hours per week, with duties including personal care, domestic tasks, and companionship.

Qualifications

• Full QQI Level 5 Major Award in Community & Health Services, Health Service Skills or Healthcare Support.
• Experience working with people in a caring role is essential.
• Full driving licence with access to own vehicle is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist members to achieve independence in daily living, including personal care, domestic tasks, social/educational support, travel and companionship.
• Work in the homes and communities of our Members.
