Job summary

Smiles Dental Bray Practice is seeking a Receptionist for a part-time role in Bray, County Wicklow. The position runs 19.5 hours weekly, with shifts from 1:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

The role includes greeting patients, booking appointments, handling payments, and supporting the clinical team to ensure smooth operations. Competitive salary with experience-based banding, uniform provided, and opportunities for development within the Smiles Dental/Bupa network.

Qualifications

• Previous administration or reception experience.
• Able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Personable with strong customer focus.
• Proficient with Word and Outlook.
• SOE/R4 experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression.
• Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records.
• Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice.
• Making patients aware of dental services and offers.
• Handling payments.
• Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality.
