Job summary

Qualifications

  • Awareness or understanding of LGBTI+ community needs and values is desirable; training provided.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety protocols.
  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Ability to learn and apply new procedures quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • This is a developmental opportunity; no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
  • Perform daily cleaning to keep centre hygienic and presentable.
  • Regularly clean shared spaces including bathrooms and kitchens.
  • Perform basic maintenance and report issues to the Manager.
  • Ensure safety and accessibility in the centre.
  • Check fire safety equipment and exits.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Greet visitors and answer queries, directing to appropriate staff.
  • Maintain visitor sign-in and confidentiality protocols.
  • Set up spaces for events and meetings.
  • Provide welcoming, respectful support to service users.
