Sherpa Kids in Dublin 9 is looking for an Afterschool Childcare Assistant for Our Lady of Victories. This part-time role supports primary school children with supervised activities, homework help, and safe, engaging play after school.

You will participate in indoor and outdoor activities, help with crafts, ensure a clean, inclusive environment, and communicate with families in English. Garda vetting and written references are required after interview.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting
• A full driving licence and access to your own car are required for this position

Responsabilités

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
