Evergreen Care's Carlingford Nursing Home seeks a proactive Activities Co-Ordinator to enrich residents' daily life through engaging programs, crafts, games and gentle exercise.

You will plan a varied activity schedule in consultation with the Nurse Manager, organise celebrations and events, and deliver sessions with energy and clear communication.

This part-time, on-site role offers a friendly team, free on-site parking, and opportunities for training and career development.

Formación

• Energetic and enthusiastic.
• Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills.
• Experience working in Health/Social Care environment desirable.
• Committed to undertaking further training.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and promote activities meeting residents' spiritual, recreational and leisure needs.
• Arrange a varied activity program in agreement with the Nurse Manager, including arts and crafts, games, exercise, sensory activities.
• Initiate and assist in planning events such as birthdays and seasonal celebrations and attend those events.
• Organize and maintain daily activities and promote a resident-focused environment, implementing special activities as needed.
• Be able to communicate effectively with residents, staff, volunteers and other carers.
