Job summary

Evergreen Care in Greystones is seeking an Activities Coordinator to design and deliver engaging activity programmes for residents. You will plan events, coordinate daily activities, and work closely with nurses, staff and volunteers to enrich residents’ lives.

The role requires energy, commitment to training, and strong organisational and communication skills. A valid EU/UK/Irish driver’s license is preferred, with on-site duties at our Greystones location.

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
• Experience working in Health/Social Care environment desirable
• Committed to undertaking further training
• Hold a valid EU/UK or Irish Drivers license with access to a vehicle

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of care-focused activity environments for residents
• Plan and arrange a varied activity programme in agreement with the Nurse Manager
• Initiate and assist in planning and executing events and celebrations
• Organise and maintain daily activities, fostering a resident-focused environment
• Deliver activity programmes with strong communication to residents and staff
• Collaborate with staff, volunteers and residents to run activities
