Job summary

Ashford House Nursing Home is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Team member to develop and implement a stimulating, person-centred activities programme for residents in our Dublin facility. You will coordinate group and individual activities, supporting recreational, social, and leisure needs to promote wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will be caring, creative and motivated, work well in a team, and demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in organising activities and programmes such as Sonas, Imagination Gym and similar dementia-focused activities would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a stimulating, person-centred activities programme.
• Provide both group and individual activities to support residents' recreational, social and leisure needs.
• Promote enjoyment, engagement and overall wellbeing for residents.

Ashford House Nursing Home is currently seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and innovative person to join our Activities Team.

The purpose of this role is to develop and implement a stimulating, person-centred activities programme, providing both group and individual activities that support the recreational, social and leisure needs of our residents while promoting enjoyment, engagement and overall wellbeing.

Experience in organising activities and programmes such as Sonas, Imagination Gym and similar dementia-focused activities would be beneficial.
