Job summary

Ifac Financial Planning in Leinster, Kilkenny, Ireland, is recruiting a full-time Paraplanner to support Financial Advisors, prepare documentation, and conduct product research within a compliant framework.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Ifac Financial Planning provides advice and guidance to our members and clients in the areas of Life Assurance, Pensions, Investments and Savings. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are currently recruiting a full-time Paraplanner to join our talented team.

The Role

This role is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career in one of Ireland's fastest growing professional service Firms. Our Paraplanner will work closely with our Director of Wealth Management and our Head of Financial Planning – to drive the next phase of growth and client impact across the region. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide support to our Financial Advisors to deliver an exceptional client experience by preparing financial planning documentation, conducting product research, managing new business processing, and maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide paraplanning and administrative support to Financial Advisors.
• Research and analyse financial products and solutions to support client recommendations.
• Prepare suitability reports, financial planning documentation, and client review packs.
• Process new business applications and liaise with product providers throughout the implementation process.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, advisors, and product providers.
• Support ongoing client review processes and financial planning activities.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, Central Bank of Ireland regulations, and all professional and legal requirements.

You Will Have

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a paraplanning or financial services support role.
• QFA qualification.
• Previous experience using CashCalc, Voyant or related software is desirable.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, protection, and financial planning.
• Experience preparing suitability reports and supporting financial advisors.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• A thorough understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the Irish financial services sector.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
