Job summary

Nua Healthcare Services in Roscommon, Ireland, is seeking a hands-on maintenance/ facilities officer to join our care-focused team. The role involves upkeep of properties, painting duties, and ensuring safe, well-maintained environments across our residential and day services.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a similar role, a full driving licence, and a proactive, collaborative approach. The job includes a 7-day roster with shift work, and opportunities for training and development

Qualifications

• 1 Year’s previous experience in a similar role.
• Full Clean Driver’s licence.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to multi-departmental teamwork.
• Ability to perform painting and upkeep tasks safely and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Maintains upkeep of all properties, including painting duties.
• Notify management regarding major repairs or additions.
• Ensure lighting, heating and ventilating equipment function properly.
• Complete reporting and documentation as required.
• Work efficiently and keep painting tasks neat and tidy.
• Participate in rotational on-call system.
