Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring a Staff Nurse - PACU for a hospital in Dublin. The role is on-site and full-time contract with rotating shifts.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based post-anaesthesia care, maintain accurate documentation, and support ongoing clinical improvement in line with NMBI guidelines. BLS/ACLS current and 1+ year acute hospital experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a NMBI Registered General Nurse.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum of one year post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork.
• Strong planning, organisational and time management skills.
• Flexible approach to rotations, rostering, night duty and theatre on-call.
• Maintains up-to-date BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work within the multidisciplinary team to support quality patient care.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based care in line with NMBI guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and assist the Clinical Coordinator as required.
• Ensure safe use of equipment and adherence to internal controls.
• Assess patients, develop care plans, document accurately and timely.
• Promote infection-control procedures and a safe clinical environment.
• Provide cross-cover within the department and support collaborative decision-making.
• Engage in education, supervision, and performance reviews.
