Job summary

Diageo’s Baileys Irish Cream site at Nangor Road, Dublin, is seeking a Packaging Team Leader on a 2-year fixed-term contract. You will lead a manufacturing packaging team on a new Guinness beer filling line, ensuring safe, efficient operations and delivery against production targets.

The role emphasizes problem solving, continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. You will be visible on the shop floor, driving results, coaching team members and fostering a culture of accountability

Qualifications

• Experience in a production leadership role in FMCG/manufacturing.
• Experience coaching and developing teams in fast-paced operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with Lean Six Sigma/TPM/Manufacturing Excellence or similar.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of key business drivers.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, and quality management systems.
• Physical capability to operate in a manufacturing environment (handling up to 15 kg).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team responsible for packaging operations.
• Deliver performance across safety, quality, cost, reliability, and environmental standards.
• Interpret production plans and ensure output targets are achieved.
• Respond quickly to operational issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and support functions to maximise performance.
• Lead daily Tier 1 meetings and contribute to broader operational reviews.
