Job summary

Enva is seeking a Packaging General Operative for a 6-month contract in Rathcoole, County Dublin. You will support the packaging division with day-to-day duties, including operating packaging machinery and ensuring compliance with safety and waste licence requirements.

The role involves manual handling, safety-focused tasks, and a readiness to learn through full training. A pre-employment medical may be required and a strong team ethos is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in manual handling.
• Safe Pass is desirable but not essential.
• Strong focus on health and safety.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• Flexibility and availability to assist where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Process packaging waste, including stacking, wrapping, shredding old and reconditioned materials, and washing IBCs in line with EPA license.
• Load and unload vehicles as required.
• Operate company equipment such as shredders, crushers, and wash plant safely.
• Follow SOPs and waste licence requirements.
• Complete per-shift safety check sheets.
• Report safety concerns and incidents promptly to management.
