Job summary

Ardour Associates Ltd in Ireland is seeking an experienced Overhead Lines Worker to join a growing team delivering electricity infrastructure projects nationwide. You will install, maintain and refurbish overhead lines on LV, MV and HV networks, while adhering to safety standards.

The role involves climbing poles and towers, using MEWPs, and collaborating with site supervisors to deliver projects on time. Permanent, full-time with a 39-hour week and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as an Overhead Lines Worker, Linesperson, Linesman, Lineworker or Powerline Technician.
• Experience on overhead electricity distribution or transmission networks.
• Experience across LV, MV and/or HV networks with relevant qualifications.
• Experience at height on utility poles and/or towers.
• Health and safety training including climbing and rescue qualifications.
• MEWP experience or training.
• Commitment to safe working practices and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and refurbish overhead lines and equipment.
• Work on LV/MV/HV networks within your competencies.
• Climb poles and towers for installation and maintenance safely.
• Use MEWPs and other access equipment as required.
• Support planned maintenance, upgrades and fault repairs.
• Carry out construction and refurbishment works per project specs.
• Follow health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and lineworkers to deliver projects safely.
