Job summary

Version 1 seeks an experienced OT/IT professional to support and maintain critical OT systems including NMS and SCADA, ensuring high availability and performance. The role involves troubleshooting complex issues, developing interfaces between OT systems and ESB/third parties, and delivering system enhancements.

You will lead data maintenance, support testing for upgrades, and collaborate with the OSS team and business stakeholders to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years post-graduate experience in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to support, maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical IT/OT systems with high availability and resilience requirements.
• Excellent Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting capabilities (Bash, KSH).
• Excellent SQL querying and PL/SQL programming skills.
• Experience in Python programming.
• Experience developing and maintaining system integrations and custom interfaces.
• Strong data management skills, including validation, cleansing, transformation, and maintenance activities.
• Ability to investigate complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Experience supporting testing activities (System/Integration/UAT/Regression).
• Ability to produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain critical OT systems including NMS and SCADA to ensure availability, reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex OT software, integration and operational technology issues.
• Develop and maintain interfaces between OT systems, ESB and third-party systems for data exchange.
• Enhance NMS reporting functionality to meet operational and business needs.
• Perform data maintenance, validation and refreshes across OT environments.
• Lead delivery of enhancement projects for existing OT systems.
• Coordinate with OT vendors to resolve issues and implement changes while ensuring stability.
• Support testing activities across system upgrades and new functionality.
• Collaborate with wider OSS team and business stakeholders for effective operations.
