Job summary

Nucleo Consulting Limited seeks an Oracle Specialist to provide expert E-Business Suite guidance across finance, procurement and project processes. You will analyse requirements, develop reporting solutions and ensure reliable data for decision-making.

The role covers Oracle EBS R12, SQL reporting, Oracle BI/Discoverer, and collaboration with business and technical teams across Dublin or Cork offices with hybrid working in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, CS, BIS, Finance or accounting.
• Extensive experience with Oracle EBS R12 (Purchasing, AP, Projects).
• Strong SQL, data analysis and reporting skills.
• Proficient Excel and PowerPoint for financial reporting.
• Ability to work with stakeholders and maintain data quality.

Nucleo is looking to hire an Oracle Specialist

This role provides specialist Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) expertise to support the effective delivery and ongoing improvement of financial, procurement and project-related business processes. The role is responsible for analysing business requirements, developing reporting and data solutions, and ensuring accurate and reliable information is available to support decision-making. Success in the position is demonstrated through the timely delivery of high-quality Oracle solutions, accurate financial reporting, effective data management and strong stakeholder relationships. The role supports the wider organisation by strengthening Oracle capability and enabling efficient, well-controlled business processes across projects and operational activities

Responsibilities

• Apply Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 expertise to support business and financial processes.
• Analyse and work with Oracle EBS Purchasing, Procurement/Accounts Payable (AP) and Projects tables to support business requirements and reporting.
• Develop SQL queries and reports to support procurement, financial analysis and management reporting.
• Use Oracle BI, Discoverer and other Oracle reporting tools to extract, analyse and present business information.
• Support budget monitoring, accruals and month-end financial reporting activities.
• Use advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills to analyse data and prepare clear reports and presentations.
• Analyse, prepare and validate data, including supporting data migration activities and performing data quality checks.
• Apply strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify issues, investigate root causes and develop appropriate solutions.
• Engage effectively with stakeholders and build strong working relationships across business and technical teams

Please note this position is based in Ireland, operated from our Dublin or Cork office with hybrid working. Eligibility to work in Ireland, with required visa is essential. Sponsorship in this case will not be provided.

• Relevant third-level qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrate significant experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12, particularly within Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Projects.
• Demonstrate strong SQL, data analysis and reporting skills, with experience using Oracle BI, Discoverer or similar reporting tools.
• Demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, together with experience supporting financial reporting, budgeting, accruals, data migration and data quality activities.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
• Oracle E-Business Suite or relevant Oracle certifications are desirable but not essential.
• Certifications in SQL, data analytics, project management or related disciplines are also advantageous.
