Job summary

Bausch + Lomb in Waterford is seeking motivated Weekend Operators on a temporary basis to support our manufacturing team and contribute to the production of high-quality eye health products. You will perform production and operations tasks across the Waterford plant as part of an empowered team, ensuring targets and GMP standards are met.

Ideal candidates are self-starters with strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Production and operations tasks across multiple manufacturing units within the Waterford plant.
• Self-starter with initiative and strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Flexibility to work on weekend shifts and maintain a target-driven approach.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors equipment as deemed appropriate by skill level.
• Provides materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Work within GMP, safety programs, lean manufacturing principles and current good manufacturing practices.
• Ensure daily targets are achieved while maintaining GMP standards and housekeeping.
• Maximise outputs within quality standards.
• Resolve production issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will be expected to perform various production and operations related tasks across various business units within the Waterford plant as part of an empowered team to aid in the manufacture and reliable supply of product.

Principal Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors equipment as deemed appropriate by skill level
• Provides materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Work within compliance with appropriate procedures, documentation, governmental regulations, safety programs, lean manufacturing principles and current good manufacturing practices
• Ensure all daily targets are achieved while maintaining good standards of GMP and housekeeping within the area
• Maximise outputs of all products, within quality standards
• Solve Production issues & working on continuous improvement initiatives
