Job summary

Bausch + Lomb in Waterford, Ireland, seeks production operators on a temporary basis to support our manufacturing team and help produce high-quality eye health products.

The role covers various production tasks across business units within the Waterford plant as part of an empowered team working a 4-shift pattern to ensure reliable product supply.

Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented and able to work to GMP standards.

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors equipment as deemed appropriate by skill level.
• Provides materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Work within compliance with procedures, regulations, safety programs, lean principles and current GMP.
• Ensure all daily targets are achieved while maintaining GMP and housekeeping standards.
• Maximise outputs of all products, within quality standards.
• Solve production issues and work on continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will be expected to perform various production and operations related tasks across various business units within the Waterford plant as part of an empowered team to aid in the manufacture and reliable supply of product. This is a 4 Shift position.

Principal Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors equipment as deemed appropriate by skill level

• Provides materials in accordance with established procedures.

• Work within compliance with appropriate procedures, documentation, governmental regulations, safety programs, lean manufacturing principles and current good manufacturing practices

• Ensure all daily targets are achieved while maintaining good standards of GMP and housekeeping within the area

• Maximise outputs of all products, within quality standards

• Solve Production issues & working on continuous improvement initiatives
