Job summary

Bausch + Lomb, a global eye health leader, is seeking motivated Operators on a temporary basis to support our Waterford manufacturing team and contribute to the production of high‑quality eye health products used by millions globally.

The successful candidate will perform various production and operations tasks across business units within the Waterford plant as part of an empowered team. This is a 4-shift position.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication within a team and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors production equipment as required.
• Provides materials per established procedures.
• Works in compliance with GMP, safety programs and lean manufacturing principles.
• Maintains daily targets and housekeeping standards within the area.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will be expected to perform various production and operations related tasks across various business units within the Waterford plant as part of an empowered team to aid in the manufacture and reliable supply of product. This is a 4 Shift position.

Principal Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors equipment as deemed appropriate by skill level


• Provides materials in accordance with established procedures.


• Work within compliance with appropriate procedures, documentation, governmental regulations, safety programs, lean manufacturing principles and current good manufacturing practices


• Ensure all daily targets are achieved while maintaining good standards of GMP and housekeeping within the area


• Maximise outputs of all products, within quality standards


• Solve Production issues & working on continuous improvement initiatives

Requirments

• A self starter with the ability to use own initiative at all times.


• Strong attention to detail is essential


• Excellent communication skills


• A proven team player with a focus on continuous improvement

• Previous experience in a similar role advantageous


• Excellent time keeping and attendance
