Midland Spices in Portlaoise, Co. Laois, is seeking an experienced professional to develop and manage store budgets, forecasts and financial plans. You will analyse P&L, plan procurement strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and implement ERP/POS-based inventory systems to optimise costs and service levels.

Responsibilities include coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, driving process improvements, and using Excel and BI dashboards to forecast demand and optimise pricing and promotions.

Formación

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and procurement strategy.
• Knowledge of ERP/POS-based inventory systems and BI tools.
• Ability to analyse P&L and negotiate supplier contracts.

Job Description

Develop and manage store budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Analyse P&L (Profit & Loss statements) and identify improvement areas. Plan and execute procurement strategies based on demand forecasting. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and distributors to ensure cost efficiency. Implement inventory management systems (ERP/POS-based). Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics (warehouse to store flow). Improve operational efficiency through process improvements. Implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). Use analytics tools (Excel, ERP dashboards, and BI tools) to: Forecast demand: Identify slow/fast-moving products and optimise pricing and promotions.
