Job summary

Brandes Investment Partners (Europe) Limited is hiring an Operations Analyst to support investment operations, client relationships, reporting, and cross‑functional projects across Europe, the US, and Asia.

You will help monitor fund operations, prepare reports, and analyse data using Excel and AI-powered tools, while collaborating with investment professionals and business leaders in a global, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 24 months of experience in financial services with fund administration, custody, transfer agency and asset management responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of UCITS funds.
  • Relevant degree (2nd Class Honours or higher) in business, finance, economics, psychology, social sciences, accounting or related discipline.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort with AI-powered tools.
  • Applicants must be legally authorised to work in the European Union without current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Support the client portfolio management team with account maintenance, trade-related processes, and operational activities.

  • Develop a strong understanding of how investment funds operate through hands-on experience.

What You'll Do

Be Part of Investment Operations

  • Support the client portfolio management team with account maintenance, trade-related processes, and operational activities.
  • Help monitor fund operations and work with service providers to resolve issues and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Develop a strong understanding of how investment funds operate through hands‑on experience.
  • Review investment compliance, fund oversight, and risk reports, exercising sound judgment to identify and elevate issues where appropriate.
  • Provide collaborative support to the Compliance Department and contribute to cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Work With Clients and Global Teams

  • Support client onboarding and ongoing client servicing activities with a proactive, client-focused approach.
  • Build effective working relationships and collaborate with colleagues, clients, consultants, and vendors around the world.
  • Take initiative in preparing reports, respond to information requests, and contribute to projects that support a strong client experience.
  • Partner with teammates to solve problems, share knowledge, and deliver a high standard of service.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance reports used by business leaders and investment teams to support informed decision-making.
  • Analyse fund, sales, client, and market data to identify trends, uncover insights, and support business opportunities.
  • Use Excel, AI, and other technology tools to improve how information is gathered, analysed, and reported.
  • Apply critical thinking to identify opportunities for automation, workflow improvement, and smarter business processes.
  • Take ownership of projects that support business initiatives.

Contribute to Meaningful Projects

  • Support initiatives that improve reporting, collaboration, and business execution.

What We're Looking For

The starting salary for this position ranges from €50,000 to €60,000 per annum, determined objectively based on the successful candidate's experience, qualifications, and skills. This role is eligible to participate in our annual discretionary bonus scheme, with payouts based on both individual achievements and overall company performance. In accordance with transparent recruitment practices, compensation is determined using objective, gender‑neutral criteria.
